Ignacio Vélez Pérez is a mining engineer with more than twenty years of international experience in large-scale mining projects in Spain, Russia, West Africa, Canada, and Chile. He has held technical and executive leadership roles across all phases of the mining cycle, from exploration and project development to the operation and optimization of open-pit and underground mines.
Founder of IGAN Consultores, he has advised global mining companies such as First Quantum, Kinross, Lundin Mining, Grupo México, and Adriatic Metals on technical studies, strategic planning, asset evaluation, and operational management. His approach combines technical rigor, strategic vision, and an in-depth understanding of the international mining business.
