ADR (asset depreciating range)

In the original Australian taxation context, ADR refers to the asset depreciating range, that is, prescribed lives or ranges used to calculate depreciation for tax purposes. For mining and energy projects, the chosen depreciation regime influences taxable income, timing of tax payments and after-tax project cash flows, and therefore project NPV.
